The FYD faculty is thrilled to announce that Jamie (Dowdy) Alexander (NCSU, FYD 2010 MS graduate) recently received her PhD from Oklahoma State University in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. Jamie successfully defended her dissertation Male and Female: Career Development of African American Athletes and Non-Athletes, in June and now is officially Dr. Jamie Alexander! We are honored and proud to have been a part of your academic career!
Rachel Harris Monteverdi is a graduate of the NC State University Family Life and Youth development program, with a focus on Administration and Leadership. Her coursework empowered her to more fully comprehend organizational systems, effective research and evaluation, along with complex issues in human development. As a result, she brings best practices to the residents of North Carolina through innovative human development programs with Cooperative Extension.
