Biography

Emily Foley, Extension Associate with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) at NC State University, provides initial and on-going training support to program staff. The program serves limited resource families and school-aged youth by providing hands-on educational sessions with the goals to improve dietary intake, nutritional practices, food resource management practices, food safety practices and to increase daily physical activity. Emily is passionate about serving the needs of families and youth in North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition from NC State University and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Meredith College.
