Biography

Greg began teaching Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less in August 2009 and became Lead Instructor in January, 2010. Previously, Greg served as Assistant Executive Director for NC Alliance for Athletics, Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NCAAHPERD) following over a decade-long service to Harnett County Schools and Wake County Human Services as an educator for middle school and non-custodial parents, respectively. He brings his enthusiasm for overall wellness to all participants of Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less and serves as group fitness instructor at the Alexander YMCA in Raleigh. Passion for wellness inspires him to motivate others after utilizing the very strategies taught via Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less to lose over fifty pounds during his tenure at NCAAHPERD. Greg matriculated at Campbell University earning his BS degree in middle-school mathematics and science instruction. He holds fitness instructor certification from Aerobic and Fitness Association of America.
