Biography

Judy provides leadership in managing the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in the South Central District. Her duties include teaming with district and county Extension directors to recruit, hire, coach and evaluate the performance of nutrition program assistants working in Cabarrus, Gaston, Harnett, Mecklenburg, Scotland, and Union Counties. She is responsible for training and development of personnel, monitoring accomplishments, and providing program data to national, state and local stakeholders. Judy received a B.S. in Home Economics from Missouri University at Columbia and a M.S. in Education from Kansas University. Judy’s professional experiences include working as a Nutrition Programs Supervisor for the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service, a Dietitian in health care, and a Supervisor and Director of Child Nutrition Programs.
