YFCS Students Present Research

Youth, Family, and Community Sciences students presented their research at local, regional and national conferences this spring.

Karen Randle presented her research, Examining the Impact of Family Life Coaching on Student Academic Success at the Southeastern Council on Family Relations in Orlando, Florida. Karen’s poster won the Outstanding Graduate Poster Presentation Award. Karen also presented her poster at the NC State Graduate School Symposium in Raleigh, NC.

KRandleShanelle Ebanks presented her research, Integrating Soft Skills Education into Out of School Time Programs through Community Engagement at the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Programs Synergy Conference in Raleigh, NC. Shanelle also presented her poster at the NC State Graduate School Symposium in Raleigh, NC.
